Measurement in mathematics involves quantifying different types of quantities such as length, weight, capacity (volume), time, temperature, and speed. Any measurement is expressed in two parts: a numeric value and a specific unit. For example, when we say something is "5 meters long," 5 is the numeric value and meters is the unit. There are two primary measurement systems used globally: the Metric system and the US Standard system.
